A directory of launch platforms known to operate on one chain: name, protocol family and icon. No volume, no ranking, not guaranteed exhaustive; STABLE has none.
/api/external/discovery/venues/{chain}What it returns
A DIRECTORY of launch platforms (e.g. "Pump.fun") known to operate on one chain — name, protocol family and icon. It is NOT a ranking and carries no volume, no token count, no graduation count and no ordering of any kind: the source has no field for any of those, and every one of its 8 candidate ranking attributes is rejected. results is empty when none were found for this chain — never read that as proof none exist; the source is not guaranteed exhaustive. protocol is COARSER than name: several launch-platform names can share one protocol family (e.g. "Pump.fun" and "Pump Mayhem" both read protocol "Pump") — never present protocol as the venue's own display name. STABLE answers 400 rather than an empty list: the source is healthy there and genuinely has nothing, corroborated by an independent per-token reading, so this endpoint refuses it by name rather than spend a call whose only possible outcome is empty.
