Built for teams shipping crypto products

The data your product needs, without wiring up a different provider for every chain and every kind of question.

Trading bots and terminals

Why DexData

One key instead of a stack of subscriptions

Security, holders, prices, wallets, chains, DeFi and markets behind a single API key and a single bill, instead of a separate contract and integration for each kind of data.

The same JSON on every chain

A response has the same fields whichever chain the token lives on, so the code that reads a Solana token also reads an Ethereum or Base token.

You only pay for answers

A call is charged only when it succeeds. Bad input, an unsupported chain, "no data for this address" and server errors cost nothing, and every response says exactly what it used.

Null means unknown, never zero

Every field is always present. A value that could not be established is null, never a made-up 0, so your code can tell "unknown" from "none".

Explicit about coverage

Each endpoint documents the chains it serves. Ask for one it does not and you get a clear 400 that says so, instead of an empty guess.

Usage you can see

A dashboard per key: calls, successes, failures and credits by hour or day, broken down by endpoint and by the caller you tag each request with.

From sign-in to first call in a minute

  1. Step 1

Sign in with Google. No credit card, no sales call.

  2. Step 2

    Create a key

Your account starts with free credits every month, enough to build and test an integration.

  3. Step 3

    Make the call

Send the key in one header. Plain HTTPS GET and JSON back — no SDK, no query language.

467 endpoints, one API

Every endpoint lives under /api/external/{family}/{name}, followed by what it reads: a chain and a token, wallet, contract or pool address. The bundled ones return a whole group in one call; the narrow ones return a single concern.

Questions

What is DexData?

DexData is a REST API for on-chain data. Its endpoints answer questions about tokens, wallets, contracts, transactions, pools, DeFi protocols and whole chains, and every answer comes back as JSON in the same shape on every chain.

Which blockchains does DexData support?

Solana, Ethereum, BNB Chain, Base, Arbitrum, Optimism, Scroll, Celo, Stable, Robinhood Chain and Arc. Each endpoint lists the chains it serves, and asking it for one it does not serve returns a 400 that says so.

Can I check if a token is a honeypot or a rug pull?

Yes. The security endpoint returns sell-ability, taxes, authorities, liquidity burn or lock and a rug score in one call. sellability, taxes, contract-traits, lp-safety and token-locks return each of those on its own, in more detail.

How is usage billed?

In credits. Each endpoint has a credit price, and a call is charged only when it succeeds: a bad request, an unsupported chain, a "no data" answer or a server error costs nothing. Every response carries the credits it used in the x-dexdata-credits-used header.

Is there a free tier?

Yes. Every account gets free credits every month, with no credit card, so you can build and test an integration before you pay anything.

How do I pay for more credits?

From the dashboard, with USDC on Solana: pick a plan, scan the payment code with your wallet, and the credits are yours as soon as the payment is confirmed. A plan lasts 30 days and never renews by itself; when it ends, the account goes back to the free monthly credits.

Can AI agents use DexData?

Yes. Besides the OpenAPI reference, the whole catalogue is published as a machine-readable endpoint dictionary: an agent searches it in plain language, gets back the endpoint, its path and its parameters, and then makes the call.

What happens when there is no data for an address?

Fields that could not be established are null, never a made-up zero, so your code can tell "unknown" apart from "none". An address the API has nothing on at all returns a 404, which is not charged.
