Perpetuals API
One coin's RSI, MACD, moving averages, ATR and TD across timeframes
A coin's technical indicators as they read now — RSI, MACD with its signal line, simple and exponential moving averages, average true range and TD Sequential — one reading per timeframe.
/api/external/perps/derivatives-technicals/{symbol}What it returns
One coin's technical indicators as they read right now: rsi, macd, ma, ema, atr and td, each with one reading per timeframe. The indicators do not share a timeframe set — rsi is published at 15m, 1h, 4h, 12h, 24h and 1w, and the other five at 1m, 5m, 15m, 30m, 1h, 4h, 1d and 1w — so each block carries its own, labelled exactly as the source labels it. Every block says what its numbers ARE in unit, because they are not alike: rsi is a 0-100 index, ma, ema, atr and macd are prices in the quote currency, and td is a signed bar count. signal is the MACD signal line and is null on every other indicator. Omit indicator for all six; naming one answers that one alone, for a sixth of the cost. No price is published here: two of the underlying reads, taken seconds apart, stated the same coin 0.14% apart, so no single price here would be THE price — ask price or price-change for that. symbol is the coin ticker, matched case-insensitively; the source's futures list is neither crypto-only nor scoped to any of this API's chains — so a ticker answering here says nothing about a token on a chain — and a handful of its tickers are not written in Latin letters.
Chains
This endpoint is not tied to a chain: it takes no chain in its request.

| Parameter | Description |
|---|---|
indicatorquery · string · optional | Answer one indicator instead of all six: rsi (relative strength index), macd (moving average convergence divergence, with its signal line), ma (simple moving average), ema (exponential moving average), atr (average true range) or td (TD Sequential). Omitted, every indicator is answered, which costs six upstream calls rather than one.rsimacdmaemaatrtd |
symbolpath · string · required | The futures symbol, which is a coin ticker, e.g. "BTC", "ETH" or "SOL" — not an instrument id, and not a token mint or contract address. Case-insensitive. |
Response fields
A JSON response. Every field is always present; null means the value could not be established, never zero.
| Field | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
symbol | string | The coin, upper-cased (e.g. "BTC"). |
indicators | object[] | One block per indicator asked for: all six in the order above when indicator is omitted, otherwise the one named. A block whose indicator the source states nothing for on this coin comes back with an empty readings rather than being dropped, so the shape does not change with coverage. When NOTHING asked for has a reading there is no answer at all — that is the 404, not a list of empty blocks. |
indicators[].indicator | string | Which indicator this block reads. |
indicators[].unit | string | What the numbers are: index is a 0-100 oscillator, price is the quote currency (for macd, a difference of two price averages), count is a signed bar count. Compare values across indicators only inside the same unit. |
indicators[].readings | object[] | One reading per timeframe the source stated, in ascending bucket width. A timeframe it stated nothing for is left out rather than sent as an empty slot. |
indicators[].readings[].timeframe | string | The bucket width, exactly as the source labels it. rsi labels its daily reading 24h; the other indicators label theirs 1d. The two are not published as one, because their equivalence was never measured. |
indicators[].readings[].value | number | null | The indicator's value, in unit. |
indicators[].readings[].signal | number | null | MACD's signal line. Null on every other indicator, and null on MACD's shortest width, which the source sends without one. |
