What it returns

A market SUMMARY: current price, how many positions are open, combined open interest, and estimated long/short liquidation value over four trailing windows (1h, 4h, 1d, 7d). Chainless — symbol is a leveraged derivatives market ticker (e.g. "BTC"), never a token mint or contract address, and this endpoint has no relationship to any of this API's six chains. An unrecognised symbol returns 400 naming exactly that, rather than a blank 404 or a silent all-null 200 — use GET /perps/perps-markets to discover a real one.

This endpoint is not tied to a chain: it takes no chain in its request.

Parameters

`symbol` path · string · required	A coin ticker, e.g. "BTC" — the asset the market is on, not a token mint or contract address, and not scoped to any chain this API otherwise supports.
