What it returns

Chain-level economic activity: rolling DEX trading volume and protocol fee revenue, over trailing 24-hour, 7-day and 30-day windows. Distinct from chain-stats (indexed trade activity): this endpoint answers from a different source and a different metric family — trading volume and fee revenue, not trade count. Every field is null when nothing could be established, never 0, which here would claim a chain saw no volume or fee revenue at all. dexVolumeUsd and feesUsd degrade INDEPENDENTLY of each other: a failure fetching one never nulls the other. Chain coverage today is Ethereum only — every other catalogue chain refuses with a 400 naming the reason, not a guessed or partial answer.
