What it returns

One bitcoin cycle model as a daily series, one point per UTC day, over the last 30, 90, 365 or 1825 days or its whole history (days=all, from 2010, 2011 or 2012). The newest point is the model today. Each point carries the bitcoin price the model used that day (priceUsd) and the model's own figures in values, named in valueNames:

  • pi-cycle: sma110Usd, sma350x2Usd — the 110-day average crossing above twice the 350-day one has marked past cycle tops.
  • puell-multiple: puellMultiple — daily miner revenue over its 365-day average.
  • 2-year-ma-multiplier: sma730Usd, sma730x5Usd — price under the 2-year average has marked past bottoms, above five times it past tops.
  • 200-week-ma: sma1400Usd — the 200-week (1,400-day) average.
  • rainbow: band1Usd … band10Usd — ten logarithmic price bands, lowest first.
  • bubble-index: bubbleIndex — a signed index, negative on most days.
  • ahr999: ahr999, geometricMean200dUsd — the AHR999 index and the 200-day geometric mean price it divides by.
  • macro-oscillator: macroOscillator — a signed composite oscillator, from 2012; the newest point is two days back.
  • profitable-days: inProfit — 1 when buying at that day's price is in profit at the newest price, -1 when it is at a loss, 0 on the newest point itself, which is today with the latest price.
  • golden-ratio-multiplier: sma350Usd, sma350x1_6Usd, sma350x2Usd, sma350x3Usd, sma350x5Usd, sma350x8Usd, sma350x13Usd — the 350-day average and its golden-ratio and Fibonacci multiples. The model retires the higher multiples as cycles lengthen: ×13 ends in 2013, ×8 in 2017, ×5 in 2021 and ×3 in 2024, and is null after.

priceUsd is the day's close for pi-cycle, 2-year-ma-multiplier, 200-week-ma, rainbow, golden-ratio-multiplier and profitable-days (the latest price on its newest point), the day's open for puell-multiple and ahr999, and a daily price of the index's own for bubble-index and macro-oscillator. A figure the model has no value for is null, never 0; so is an average in its first days, before the history holds its full window (the 200-week average starts in 2014).
