Discovery and markets API
Which tokens has the community recently taken over from the original team?
The latest community takeovers (a community claiming a token's listing after the team left), across every chain at once, newest first, with the claim time and the community's links.
/api/external/discovery/community-takeoversWhat it returns
A community takeover is the community claiming a token's listing profile after the original team left or stopped maintaining it. This lists the latest claims across every chain at once, newest first, each with when it was claimed and the community's own links. The order is always the source's and is never re-sorted here.
One page. The upstream feed takes no filter and sends one page whose size varies (between 5 and 20 rows when measured). chain therefore narrows THAT PAGE rather than asking for a chain, so a chain with takeovers can still answer an empty list when none of them is on the page. feedSize is how many rows the page held, so count: 0 with a non-zero feedSize means "none on this page".
A takeover says who maintains the listing now, and nothing about the token's quality or safety: check security and deployer for that.

| Parameter | Description |
|---|---|

Response fields
A JSON response. Every field is always present; null means the value could not be established, never zero.
| Field | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
chain | string | null | The chain the page was narrowed to, or null when it was not. |
feedSize | integer | How many rows the source sent, before chain and limit. Not a total of every takeover ever claimed. |
count | integer | How many rows are in takeovers. |
takeovers | object[] | Newest claim first, in the source's order. |
takeovers[].chain | string | null | The chain the token lives on, or null when the listing is on a chain this API does not publish — the feed covers the whole venue, not only these chains. |
takeovers[].chainRef | string | The listing's own chain identifier, e.g. solana or base. Always present, including when chain is null. |
takeovers[].tokenAddress | string | The token's mint or contract address on that chain. |
takeovers[].claimedAt | string | null | When the community claimed the listing, ISO-8601. Null when the row does not say. |
takeovers[].description | string | null | The community's own blurb on the listing. Null when it carries none. |
takeovers[].links | object[] | null | The community's own links (site, X, Telegram). Null when the listing carries no links at all; an empty list when it carries only links without an address. |
takeovers[].links[].type | string | null | The kind of social link, e.g. twitter, telegram. Null on a plain website link. |
takeovers[].links[].label | string | null | The link label, e.g. Website. Null on the social links. |
takeovers[].links[].url | string | Where the link points. |
