Discovery and markets API

Which platforms issue tokenized real-world assets, and on what terms

Every tokenized-real-world-asset platform with six terms per platform: redeemable, attested, CEX-listed, KYC to mint or redeem, freely transferable, self-custodiable. No chain, no input.

GET/api/external/discovery/rwa-platforms

What it returns

Every platform issuing tokenized real-world assets, with the six properties that decide what a holder can do with the token: whether it can be redeemed for the asset, whether the issuer attests to the backing, whether it is listed on a centralised exchange, whether minting or redeeming requires KYC, whether it transfers freely, and whether it can be self-custodied. Every flag is stated for every platform — there are no nulls among them. No value figure is published here on purpose: the size figures beside these flags are not the same quantity as the TVL published for the same platform elsewhere on this API and neither is documented, so they are left out rather than published as a number a caller would trust. For a platform's value, take its slug to /api/external/protocol-analysis/protocol/{slug}.

Chains

This endpoint is not tied to a chain: it takes no chain in its request.

A JSON response. Every field is always present; null means the value could not be established, never zero.

Response fields of Which platforms issue tokenized real-world assets, and on what terms
FieldTypeDescription
totalintegerPlatforms in the answer.
platformsobject[]Every platform, by name, A-Z.
platforms[].idstringThe platform id — the key this platform is listed under.
platforms[].namestring | nullThe platform name, e.g. Paxos Gold. Null when the protocol directory this API names the id through has no row for it; every platform was named when this was measured.
platforms[].slugstring | nullThe subject /protocol-analysis/protocol/{slug} takes, for this platform's TVL and the rest of its profile. Null when there is no directory row for the id, or its row carries no slug.
platforms[].redeemablebooleanWhether the token can be redeemed for the underlying asset.
platforms[].attestationsbooleanWhether the issuer publishes periodic attestations or assurance reports on the backing.
platforms[].cexListedbooleanWhether the token is listed on a centralised exchange.
platforms[].kycToMintOrRedeembooleanWhether minting or redeeming through the issuer requires KYC/AML. This is the ISSUER gate only: a token can require KYC to mint and still be freely transferable and self-custodied afterwards, which is what gold and tokenized-equity platforms do.
platforms[].transferablebooleanWhether the token moves freely between on-chain addresses. False means transfers are allowlisted or otherwise restricted.
platforms[].selfCustodybooleanWhether the token can be held in a wallet the holder controls, rather than only at the issuer.
