DeFi protocols API

One DeFi protocol's identity and per-chain TVL

One protocol's identity fields and its own current value locked, broken down by chain.

GET/api/external/protocol-analysis/protocol/{slug}

What it returns

One protocol's current snapshot: identity fields and its own per-chain TVL breakdown, by chain NAME. currentChainTvls is published exactly as the source returns it, including any protocol that carries more than one key for what looks like the same chain (e.g. a -staking variant of the same chain name) — never summed into one invented total, since summing would silently conflate categories the source itself keeps apart. A well-formed slug this source has no protocol for returns 404, never a body of nulls.

Chains

This endpoint is not tied to a chain: it takes no chain in its request.

Request

Send your key in the x-dex-data-key header. Replace each <placeholder> with a real value.

curl -H "x-dex-data-key: $DEXDATA_API_KEY" \
  "https://api.dexdata.io/api/external/protocol-analysis/protocol/<slug>"
Parameters
ParameterDescription
slug

path · string · required

A DeFi protocol's slug, e.g. "pancakeswap-amm" — not a token mint or contract address, and not scoped to any single chain.

Response fields

A JSON response. Every field is always present; null means the value could not be established, never zero.
