Discovery and markets API
How has this exchange's trading volume moved over time?
One spot exchange's 24h volume in BTC over the last day (every 10 minutes), 7 or 14 days (hourly) or 30 to 365 days (daily). Addressed by exchange id; no chain.
/api/external/discovery/spot-venue-volume-history/{id}What it returns
One spot exchange's trailing 24h volume in BTC over the last 1, 7, 14, 30, 90, 180 or 365 days, by the id spot-venues lists. days=1 answers a point every 10 minutes, 7 and 14 one per hour, every longer window one per day at 00:00 UTC. Each point is the 24h volume as of that instant, not a period total, so points must not be summed. The volume is in BTC as recorded: a trend in it also moves with the BTC price. A venue no longer tracked answers a series that ends early, so the newest point can be months old and a window can hold fewer points than days. An id that names no venue returns 404.
Chains
This endpoint is not tied to a chain: it takes no chain in its request.
