Discovery and markets API

Which tokens just updated their project info on this chain?

A per-chain feed of profile changes, newest first: the token, when it changed, and the description, websites, X, Telegram and Discord the profile now carries.

GET/api/external/discovery/token-info-updates/{chain}

What it returns

The tokens whose project information — description, websites, X, Telegram, Discord, name — was most recently updated on this chain, newest change first. Use it to watch a chain for projects filling in or rewriting their profile; it is NOT a list of new tokens, and an update is an edit to the profile, not a trade or a supply change. The window is the hundred most recent updates on the chain and there is no way to page past it, so windowOldestAt comes back with every answer: it is the oldest change that is knowable at all. A since older than windowOldestAt was NOT answered in full — updates before it exist and are not published. A poller that keeps the newest updatedAt it has seen and passes it as since will miss nothing as long as more than a hundred profiles do not change between two polls; the measured windows covered eight to thirteen days per chain. matched counts the updates in the window at or after since, before limit trims them. symbol is the profile's own label and is sometimes the token's address — read name, and identify a token by address. Every text field is null when the profile carries nothing, never an empty string. For one token's full identity see identity, and for its links alone see socials.

Request

Send your key in the x-dex-data-key header. Replace each <placeholder> with a real value.

curl -H "x-dex-data-key: $DEXDATA_API_KEY" \
  "https://api.dexdata.io/api/external/discovery/token-info-updates/SOL"
Parameters
ParameterDescription
since

query · integer · optional

Keep only profiles updated at or after this instant, in unix seconds. Compare it against windowOldestAt to know whether the window reached that far back.
limit

query · integer · optional

How many tokens to return, 1 to 100. Defaults to 50. The cap is the whole window: one request costs one upstream call whatever the limit. limit ≤ 60 keeps the answer under 32 KB.
chain

path · string · required

SOL, ETH, BNB or BASE. RHC, STABLE and ARC all return 400 — none is offered on this resource. CELO, ARB, OP and SCROLL return 400 here.

Response fields

A JSON response. Every field is always present; null means the value could not be established, never zero.

Response fields of Which tokens just updated their project info on this chain?
FieldTypeDescription
chainstringThe chain the feed is for.
matchedintegerHow many updates in the window matched since, before limit trimmed them.
windowOldestAtintegerThe oldest update time the source publishes for this chain, in Unix SECONDS — the floor of what is knowable. Always present: an empty window is treated as a failure, not as "nothing changed".
tokensobject[]Newest change first, capped by limit.
tokens[].addressstringThe token's address on this chain (EVM addresses lower-case).
tokens[].updatedAtintegerWhen the profile changed, in Unix SECONDS. This is the feed's order and what since filters on.
tokens[].namestring | nullThe project's name as the profile carries it.
tokens[].symbolstring | nullThe ticker as the profile carries it — sometimes the token's own address, for a project that published none. Never an identifier.
tokens[].decimalsinteger | nullThe token's decimals.
tokens[].descriptionstring | nullThe project's blurb. null when there is none, never an empty string.
tokens[].websitesstring[]The project's http(s) links, in the profile's own order. Empty when it lists no web link — a profile whose only entry is another kind of address is empty here too.
tokens[].twitterHandlestring | nullThe X/Twitter account, without @.
tokens[].telegramHandlestring | nullThe Telegram account without @, or a private-invite code starting with + — the profile carries both kinds.
tokens[].discordUrlstring | nullThe project's Discord link. Not always a discord.gg invite: a project page that forwards to the server also appears.
