What it returns

The first USD price on record for the token and the moment it was recorded. A token tracked as one asset across several chains (a major stablecoin, for one) carries that asset's first price, which can predate the token's arrival on the chain asked about. A token with no price on record answers null for both priceUsd and timestamp; that does not say it never traded.
