What it returns

The brief of chain-directory; prefer it unless you need every chain's name or native coin. Every blockchain coins are issued on, A to Z, as its platform id (the key coin lists contracts under) and EVM chain id, so an agent can still read a contract's platform or turn a chain id into a blockchain. The chains this API serves are repeated in full, with name, short name, native coin and chain code.

This endpoint is not tied to a chain: it takes no chain in its request.

A JSON response. Every field is always present; null means the value could not be established, never zero.

`chainCount`	integer	Blockchains in the directory.
`evmChainCount`	integer	Of them, those with an EVM chain id.
`served`	object[]	The chains this API serves (`chain` not null), each exactly as `chain-directory` lists it.
`served[].platform`	string	The platform id, e.g. `ethereum`, `binance-smart-chain`, `solana`: the key `coin` lists contracts under.
`served[].name`	string	The blockchain name, e.g. `BNB Smart Chain`.
`served[].shortName`	string \| null	A short name, e.g. `BSC`. Null for most.
`served[].evmChainId`	integer \| null	The EVM chain id, e.g. 1, 56, 8453. Null for a chain that is not EVM or has none published.
`served[].nativeCoinId`	string \| null	The coin id of its native (gas) coin, e.g. `ethereum`, `binancecoin`; `coin` answers it.
`served[].chain`	string \| null	The chain code this API uses for it (`ETH`, `BNB`, `SOL`), or null when no endpoint serves it.
`chains`	object[]	Every blockchain, by platform id, A to Z.
`chains[].platform`	string	The platform id, e.g. `ethereum`, `binance-smart-chain`: the key `coin` lists contracts under.
`chains[].evmChainId`	integer \| null	The EVM chain id; null for a chain that is not EVM or has none published.
