What is this coin: identity, contracts per chain and market figures?
One coin by coin id: name, symbol, rank, links, its contract on every chain, price, market cap, volume, changes, all-time high/low and supply. Optional outstanding supply.
/api/external/discovery/coinWhat it returns
Everything known about one coin, by coin id (bitcoin, pepe, usd-coin): its name, symbol, rank by market cap, categories, description and links; its token contract on every blockchain it is issued on, with the chain code this API uses for each (null for blockchains it does not serve); and its price, market cap, valuation, 24h volume, 24h/7d/30d change, all-time high and low, and supply. A native coin (bitcoin, ether) has no contracts. Unknown figures are null, never 0: a newly listed coin often has no known circulating supply, so no market cap. Set supplyBreakdown=true to add the outstanding supply (one more upstream call). The coin ids are the ones recently-listed-coins and treasury-holders use. An unknown coin returns 404.
Chains
This endpoint is not tied to a chain: it takes no chain in its request.

A JSON response. Every field is always present; null means the value could not be established, never zero.
