What it returns

Every sector of the crypto market with the combined market cap and 24h volume of its coins, the sector's 24h market-cap change and its three largest coins, ranked largest first by market cap, volume or change. Sectors overlap (a coin sits in several), so their figures never add up to the whole market, and a sector's 24h change is computed on its own and can differ widely from the whole market's. About half the sectors carry no figures at all: they rank last with nulls. total is how many sectors exist before limit.

Parameters
Parameter	Description
`sort` query · string · optional	What to rank by, largest first: `marketCap`, 24h `volume`, or 24h market-cap `change24h`. Defaults to marketCap.`marketCapvolumechange24h`
`limit` query · integer · optional	How many sectors to return. Defaults to 100; 1000 returns every one. limit ≤ 100 keeps the answer under 32 KB.

A JSON response. Every field is always present; null means the value could not be established, never zero.

`sort`	string	The ranking answered.
`total`	integer	How many sectors exist, before `limit`.
`sectors`	object[]	Largest first; sectors without the ranked figure last.
`sectors[].id`	string	The sector's id, e.g. `layer-1`.
`sectors[].name`	string \| null	Display name.
`sectors[].marketCapUsd`	number \| null	Combined market cap of the sector's coins, in USD. Null for a sector no figure is kept for.
`sectors[].volumeUsd24h`	number \| null	Combined trailing 24h trading volume of the sector's coins, in USD. Null where none was recorded.
`sectors[].marketCapChangePercent24h`	number \| null	24h change of the sector's market cap, in percent (4.5 = +4.5 %). Null without a market cap.
`sectors[].topCoinIds`	string[]	Ids of the sector's largest coins, largest first, up to three. Empty for an untracked sector.
`sectors[].updatedAt`	string \| null	When the sector's figures were last computed (ISO 8601). Null for an untracked sector.
